Our work centers the plots of women, crippled, racial, ethnic, gender, and sexual groups, and low-income individuals. Our curatorial team is incorporated of opera singer. We present residencies and pay sidelined artists to generate art. We are a BIPOC-led organization with opera singer Emmanuel Henreid and choreographer Shakir Najieb at the head of our 2022 programming. Our work centers forward-ideas which are story lines from women, disabled, racial, ethnic, gender, and sexual groups, and low-income individuals. Future Prairie is a strange creative studio and non-profit artist combined. We make work about the future. We also create a monthly magazine and podcast, host a periodically variety show, and curate exhibitions, panels, performances, and broadcasted works.
